About AK Wedding Photographers

Beth and Loren met as photojournalism students at Ohio University's School of Visual Communication. Beth, originally from Cleveland, was finishing her bachelor’s degree and Loren, a native of Anchorage, was pursuing his master’s degree. Both photojournalists have been recognized for their outstanding photography with awards from many national and international competitions, including the National Press Photographer’s Association, the College Photographer of the Year competition and the Eddie Adams Workshop.

Beth and Loren have worked together on many photographic projects. From documenting the lives of poor fishing communities in India, to the homeless of Ohio, to the economic crisis in Western Alaska, Beth and Loren work hard to tell the stories that need to be told.
